Hôtel Château d‘Eau
The Hôtel Château d'Eau in Paris evokes the “uninhibited atmosphere” of the disco era. The hotel is located on Rue du Château d'Eau, the center of the 1970s nightlife scene.

- It is this avant-garde attitude to Parisian nightlife that Necchi Architecture combined with lacquer, chrome, animal prints and vintage design elements into the hotel's sultry and highly stylized design.
- Leopard print is a key design element, with a pair of antique Italian ceramic leopards placed in the lobby area. This 1970s print was replicated throughout the décor, including the upholstered furniture, the hotel's exterior signage and the winding staircase carpet. Guest rooms are defined by carpet color, with gray-green on the lower floors, dark purple on another floor, and bronze-toned orange on the hotel's top floor.
- Minibars are integrated into the nightstands, closets are exposed, and the desk is a mobile tray that can be placed on the bed. It's a bit of a break from the traditional hotel plan, but more conducive to daily activities. In collaboration with Parisian artist Géraldine Roussel, a series of geometric artworks hanging above the beds were created, made of clear glass and inspired by the Op Art movement.
