Cassina has produced this storage unit for the first time since the design. It has becomed the best furniture design in the world. The modern furniture design is influenced by the Anglo-Japanese art of FL Wright and EW Godwin, particularly in the emphasized horizontal surfaces which are offset by vertical supports which form a grid that suspends the storage compartments. The support grid is almost continuous, featuring contrasting slatted sections so that the slats' dynamics face outward. This process requires latest furniture matericals to support it .
